MEN AND COVID-19: EXPLICATING THE NEED FOR MASCULINITY ANALYSIS

There are important gender determinants to both men’s and women’s susceptibility COVID-19. Emerging findings confirm men dying disproportionately at a higher rate than women. Such differences in deaths have informed scholars widen their analytical look through critical masculinity lens. As the practices respond context of gendered burden disease still inadequate nearly absent on health, it is suggested specifically focus vulnerability COVID-19 with appropriate interventions.
